Nchi mbali mbali ikwemo Kenya,Tanzania na Malawi huchukua juhudi mbali mbali za kupambana na Ugonjwa huu wa kipindupindu,
Ugonjwa huu ni acute diarrheal infection ambapo chanzo chake kikubwa ni;
mtu kula chakula au kunywa maji yenye vimelea vya magonjwa vinavyojulikana kama bacterium Vibrio cholerae.
Kipindupindu huweza kumpata mtoto,mtu mzima n.k, haijalishi umri wako wala jinsia yako,
Na ugonjwa huu huweza kusababisha Kifo ndani ya masaa machache tu,
Watu wenye kinga ndogo ya mwili kama vile; Watoto wenye utapiamlo(malnourished children), au watu wanaoishi na virusi vya UKIMWI wapo kwenye hatari kubwa zaidi ya kupoteza maisha baada ya kupata Kipindupindu.

Cholera transmission is closely linked to inadequate environmental management. Typical at-risk areas include peri-urban slums, where basic infrastructure is not available, as well as camps for IDPs or refugees, where minimum requirements of clean water & sanitation are not met.
