WHO yatangaza kuwa COVID-19 sio ugonjwa wa dharura tena(global health emergence)
Mkurugenzi Mkuu wa Shirika la Afya Duniani(WHO), Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus alisema jana;
Kamati ya Dharura ya COVID19 ilikutana kwa mara ya 15 na ilipendekeza kwake atangaze kusitishwa kwa COVID19 kama ugonjwa wa dharura ya afya kwa umma inayohusu kimataifa yaani “a Global health emergence”, na Alikubali ushauri huo.
Kwa matumaini makubwa ninatangaza COVID-19 Sio tena dharura ya afya ya kimataifa.
Haya hapa chini ni maneno yake Dr.Tedros;
“Yesterday, the #COVID19 Emergency Committee met for the 15th time and recommended to me that I declare an end to the public health emergency of international concern. I have accepted that advice.
With great hope I declare COVID-19 over as a global health emergency”.
